About Dr. Farzana Sultana

Dr. Farzana Sultana is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Molecular Immunology at the Institution of Science, Tokyo, Japan. Her research focuses on ILDR2, a novel immune checkpoint molecule belonging to the B7 family. She is expected to complete her Ph.D. in March 2025.

Dr. Farzana Sultana is currently exploring postdoctoral fellowship opportunities or an Assistant Professor position at a research university.

Dr. Sultana earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Jahurul Islam Medical College, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. She is highly skilled in both laboratory research and patient care. In addition to her technical expertise, she is recognized for her leadership qualities and collaborative approach, making her a valuable asset to any research team.
