FAQs
How do I best contact you?
My preferred mode of communication for academic matters is asynchronous — specifically email. Use the contact form on this website to contact me since my email is embedded within it. You are more likely to get quick feedback from me than trying to reach me by phone.
I have feedback regarding your teaching methods
Feel free to unleash your thoughts and ideas by emailing me or using this website’s contact form. Your valuable suggestions and feedback regarding the courses I teach or have taught will be greatly appreciated. I thrive on the wisdom my students and colleagues share as I wholeheartedly embrace the opportunity to grow and evolve in my teaching and research journey. Don’t hold back; let the communication flow respectfully!
Will you be my academic supervisor?
Immersed in a world of boundless curiosity, my passion lies in collaborating with the academic adventurers of tomorrow—undergraduates and postgraduates alike. As their guide through research, projects, and breakthrough innovations, I relish the opportunity to shape their journeys. Should you seek my guidance as your advisor, I implore you not to hesitate to reach out. Nevertheless, before embarking on this collaborative journey, I invite you to embark on a preliminary exploration of my research interests and ongoing projects. When you identify any exciting avenue for collaboration, write to me with research or project areas that ignite your soul rather than a solitary inquiry of “Will you be my academic supervisor?” For it is in these shared aspirations that our partnership shall flourish.
Will you write me a letter of recommendation?
I have no problem writing a reference / recommendation letter for you. However, if I have not previously taught you and interacted with you, then it is least likely I’ll have anything to say about you in the letter.
What information should I provide you if I want a letter of recommendation?
Often, the memories of my past and present students persist. However, as the years go by, together with my numerous commitments, the grip of forgetfulness occasionally tightens, particularly when our paths fail to converge through social media, social gatherings, or other avenues of common interest. To aid me in crafting a compelling reference/recommendation letter, kindly remind me (through the contact form on this website) of the year in which our academic journey intertwined, the courses I taught you, and, if any, the projects we worked on together. Additionally, feel free to provide a catalog of notable achievements and cherished moments you wish me to highlight in the recommendation letter. Furthermore, include the Job or academic level you intend to apply to, the organization / University, and to whom the letter should be addressed.
Can I invite you for an academic talk (seminars, workshops, conferences) or TV and Radio talks?
Yes. Do not hesitate to contact me two weeks to a month before the arranged talk. Ensure that you provide details while inquiring about my availability. The talk invitations should be on themes that revolve around my research areas.
